This visit was about the 3D scanning of a variety of car models to get 1:1 high precision data from real cars. Our 3D scanning technology enables JC sportline to create a precise digital representation of a range of South African vehicles, which eliminates the need for traditional clay molds. This 3D scanning also reduces the risk of damage to the exotic auto.
This 3D scanning was a beginning to an amazing and challenging task to meet the needs of South African agents to provide them second to none performance products, aerodynamic components, and styling accessories for exotic vehicles. JC Sportline aims to design and engineer quality carbon fiber auto parts that are most accurate in an industry where customers get parts not always well built.

· Material selection:
Of course, we use carbon fiber that is used in everything from simple backpacks to 777 jumbo jets. We use the best raw material to produce parts with superior strength and low weight that is critical for automotive performance.
· 3D Scanning:
In the JC Sportline factory rather than traditional hand molding methods, we use 3D scanning to capture every major and minor detail of the digital model to design the aero car body kit parts. The captured detail of the larger surface of the car in high resolution helps in accurately scanning shiny and dark parts of the vehicle. This is also an amazing technology to capture darker and underside areas of the vehicle with every possible detail.
· Hand drawing & CAD design:
After 3D scanning, high-resolution digital model of the vehicle can be generated by 3D design technology, 3D printing technology, Vacuum coating technology. CAD software equipped with reverse engineering tools edit a solid model in three ways:
· The semi-automatic surfacing of curved surfaces that are difficult to draw manually.
· Automatic surfacing to generate a solid model from a watertight scan.
· Manual redrawing for simple features like pockets, holes, and bosses.
· CNC Milling operations:
JC Sportline has also adopted CNC (computer numerical control) technology for milling operations. By using CNC JC Sportline manufactures functional carbon fiber parts precisely. Due to the filament in the epoxy resin carbon fiber sheets a very special shine and exceeding robust also appears. The CNC router we use machines carbon even cleaner, more precise, and more material saver.
· Sample product quality assurance:
After a long, tough journey from 3D scanning to CNC milling, our team finally achieved the final sample product. This sample production was a great achievement, but before sending it to the client for the fitment test out quality control department passes it from different quality assurance procedures to make it perfectly issues/problems free for our client. The only rule our quality control team follows is ‘’NO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY’’. This is the reason why JC Sportline is second to none. We subject each of our product rigorous race track, street, and dyno testing to ensure the best performance in the most extreme conditions. We deliver quality, originality, and innovation with durability.
· Fitment testing:
After this complete quality certification, the final step is fitment testing. We never get puzzled or feared about our product’s fitment testing. We work hard with complete dedication and following the production and quality rules strictly, that is why we always remain sure of our success. In the final stage when fitment testing performed the result is as expected.
